Fly from Lilongwe to Mfuwe (Zambia) the gateway to the famous South Luangwa National Park and stay at a pre arranged lodge or camp of choice. The park contains over 100 species of mammals including lion, leopard, buffalo, Thornicroft giraffe, Cookson wildebeest, zebra, elephant and hippo. Travel through the African bush and open grass plains in your quest to observe animals in their natural environment. Experience untouched wilderness, extensive wild and birdlife, and capture the true feeling of Africa.

Day 1
Depart with a morning flight from Lilongwe to Mfuwe (Zambia). Transfer into the Luangwa Valley, bringing you to a lodge or camp of choice. After lunch an experienced guide will take you on a late afternoon/night game drive. This is a unique way to view the nocturnal activity of the park. When you return, dinner will be served at the lodge or camp you stay at. When evening falls, you can relax over a drink and enjoy the evening atmosphere of the park.

Day 2
Start the day with a pre game drive breakfast followed by an early morning game drive. Enjoy the sights of the national park before returning to the lodge or camp for a well needed lunch. Spend your afternoon by listening to the sound of nature or have a chat with one of the guides about their experiences in the bush. After a snack it is time to go on another a late afternoon/night game drive. Dinner will be served at the lodge/camp’s restaurant.

Day 3
After breakfast, you start your last day with a morning game drive. When you are packed, you will have lunch and be transferred to Mfuwe. On the route to the airport you stop at Tribal Textile Workshop to see the beautiful fabrics made by the local craftsmen and artists. In the early afternoon you will be flown back to Lilongwe.

Visa exemption update: Please be advised that the (free of charge) visa exemption arrangement, as previous used by Zambian tour operators has been changed by the Zambian Immigration Department at present and that all tourist traveling into Zambia should have their visa obtained at the border or arranged in advance. More detailed information can be obtained from you nearest Zambian Embassy. Please let us know if any more information is required.
